Going Back to the Pages with the Reading Challenge 2026

So I haven’t done this in a while because I’ve been busy studying, moving, settling down, and writing up a storm.

I recently finished my contemporary romance, and I’m deep in the querying trenches.

When time allows, I have been reading behind the lines and thought to get myself back on track by initiating my 2026 reading challenge.

I started this challenge back in 2020 to get myself back into reading as much as I did when I was a kid.

Since then, sometimes, I’ve read more, sometimes less, but always reading when time allows.

Going Back to the Pages with the Reading Challenge 2026

Switching it Up in 2026

Unlike previous years, when I read more than I wrote, 2025 and this year have me writing a lot to finish the backlog of ideas and start working on the new ones floating in my head.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have a serious pocket of time to dedicate to this project, and I intend to make the best of every minute of it.

So What’s on the 2026 Reading Challenge List?

I’m still putting the list together, so I will be updating it as the months go by.

In case you’re wondering, my favorite genres include autobiographies, historical fiction, mysteries, suspense, thrillers, rom-coms, and true crime novels.

But really, I’ll read anything if it’s in a language I understand and it captivates my attention.
